Scott Consulting Engineers, P.C., began in 1980 under the leadership of Mr. Richard G. Scott, P.E.  We offer a comprehensive range of civil engineering, land surveying, and land use development and planning services to public and private clients. Our expertise in facility studies, planning, design, and construction-related services, combined with our client-focused approach, has earned us a reputation of superior service and integrity.

Client/Project Approach

Communication, planning & execution! We begin projects by endeavoring to gain an in-depth understanding of our client's specific goals and objectives.  In addition, we attempt to become very familiar with any issues or problems that may be of concern.  Based on this information we suggest a detailed project plan that includes the following:

• Project Definition: Why we are doing the work.
• Work Breakdown Structure: How we are organizing to do the work.
• Task List: The details of what needs to be done.
• Schedule: When things are going to be done.
• Organizational Chart: Who is responsible for accomplishing the work.

Throughout the project, we are able to execute the project efficiently and professionally utilizing the project plan, which serves as an excellent basis of communication with our client.  This approach has helped us keep our clients well informed and our projects on schedule while attaining the client’s goals and objectives.

As a full-service civil engineering firm, we have the engineering, surveying, land use development, and construction administration expertise to provide all aspects of quality civil engineering services. We employ Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, a Registered Landscape Architect, Construction Administrators, engineering interns, engineering technicians, field surveyors and administrative staff.
